Job summary

TACO BELL is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager in Danbury, CT, to support the restaurant general manager in delivering fast, friendly service and high-quality food. This role drives daily operations, team development, and guest satisfaction to achieve financial targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising restaurant teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RGM in daily openings/closings, cash handling, and shift management.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
• Supervise crew and shift leads, provide coaching and schedule staffing.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support disciplinary actions with the manager.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Support financial targets by monitoring sales, costs, and labor against budgets.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control waste to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with kitchen, servers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate operational updates to staff and HQ, and report performance metrics and challenges.
