Job summary

HAZA BELL's Omaha Taco Bell restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the general manager in daily operations, team leadership, and financial performance. You will ensure high standards of food safety, guest service, and efficiency while guiding Team Members and Shift Leads.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts, coordinating scheduling, training staff, handling cash procedures, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/assistant management role in restaurants.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with the restaurant general manager, including opening/closing, cash handling, and shift management.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
• Optimize resource use to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
• Supervise and train crew members and shift managers, providing coaching.
• Schedule shifts and manage staffing to meet service needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support disciplinary actions as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, address inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Monitor service quality and uphold brand expectations.
• Assist in managing finances, including sales, expenses, and labor costs.
• Prepare financial reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and rotation of products.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met; conduct audits and inspections.
• Communicate operational updates with manager, staff, and HQ; collaborate with kitchen and service teams.
