Job summary

Nicoletto's Italian Kitchen in Nashville, TN, is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the General Manager. You’ll help run daily operations, ensure top-notch food and service, and lead by example with care and accountability.

Available at all Nicoletto’s locations—including East Nashville, Mount Juliet, and Donelson—and with our trailer and events staff. You’ll coach and train teammates, coordinate staffing, monitor inventory, and keep guests happy during rush periods.

• Restaurant experience and experience leading or coaching a team.
• Friendly, approachable style with accountability.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Ability to stay calm, make sound decisions, and support guests and teammates during a rush.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily operations and take the lead on assigned shifts.
• Coach and train teammates, communicate clear expectations, and recognize a job well done.
• Help coordinate staffing, breaks, and shift assignments so service stays organized.
• Oversee opening and closing, cash handling, and clear handoffs between shifts.
• Help monitor inventory, stock levels, and prep needs, and communicate shortages before they affect service.
• Keep food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards consistent.
• Welcome guests, handle concerns with care, and support the team wherever service needs a hand.
• Share operational issues and team needs with the General Manager, and follow through on solutions.
