Job summary

BURGER KING in Bellefontaine, Ohio is hiring an Assistant Manager (AM) to lead restaurant operations, drive profitability, and develop people. You will support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, manage a team of 20–45 hourly staff, and ensure fast, friendly service in a clean facility.

Open availability including opens, closes, weekends and holidays is required. Previous quick-service or restaurant management experience is preferred, with a basic understanding of P&L and brand

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Profitability: Manages inventory costs and maintains inventory; orders and monitors assets; ensures cash control and security procedures.
• Guest: Motivates and directs team to provide fast, friendly service in a clean facility; de-escalation and customer handling.
• People: Coaches shifts and team members; participates in Leadership Development Plans.
• Operations: Directs team toward efficient preparation and sale of products; ensures brand standards and completes equipment checklists.
