Job summary

Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries & Shakes, an Austin-based restaurant, is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead FOH and BOH operations. You will ensure guest service and food quality while managing costs and staffing during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

The role requires strong customer service mindset, team leadership, and familiarity with restaurant software. A high school diploma is required, hospitality certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Aloha/Toast.
• Strong math and reporting skills for cost control.
• Customer service attitude and effective communication are essential.
• Team management and leadership abilities required.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH & BOH operations to uphold guest service and food quality.
• Monitor opening hours and ensure staffing aligns with demand.
• Minimize operating costs while maintaining service standards.
