Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager who will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the restaurant and delivering friendly, personalized service with great food in a clean, inviting environment. We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic team player to join our team!

You will work closely with the District Manager and team to maintain standards, supervise staff, manage schedules, hire and train, and ensure health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service preferred).
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• High School diploma or equivalent – possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching and staff development and team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
