Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running smooth shifts and upholding brand standards. You will lead team members, ensure tasks are completed, and help manage inventory and financial accountability.

With a focus on safety and quality, you will foster a positive work environment, greet customers, and help implement solutions quickly while maintaining exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Basic business math and accounting skills; strong analytical/decision-making abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and upholding Charter Foods standards and brand standards.
• Take ownership, seek help when needed, and guide team members and shift managers.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability; ensure safe, quality food is delivered to customers on time.
• Foster a safe work environment for employees and customers and support ongoing training.
