Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations and to uphold brand standards. You will guide team members, manage shifts, and assist with inventory and financial accountability while delivering safe, quality meals.

The role emphasizes a proactive leadership style, problem-solving with a positive attitude, and collaboration with management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Provide a safe environment for employees and customers, and deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.
