Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, build a strong team, and ensure safe, high-quality service for guests. You will guide shift leaders, monitor performance, and uphold company values such as accountability and teamwork.

The role requires flexibility in hours, a minimum of 50 hours per week, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to manage sales and P&L while maintaining excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building and P&L statements.
• Proven hiring and training track record.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license.
• ServeSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained.
• Drive fast, friendly service and a positive guest experience.
• Monitor cash handling and POS system accuracy; report issues.
• Schedule, deploy the team, and hold staff accountable to standards and expectations.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues.
