Job summary

Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a strong team to deliver fast, friendly service and quality food in a safe environment.

The role requires 1+ year of restaurant/retail experience, skills in sales, P&L management, recruiting and training; a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license and insurance. ServeSafe certified candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant or retail experience required.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting and training.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong, effective team.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and a safe, welcoming environment.
• Monitor health and safety standards and compliance with cash handling policies.
• Schedule staff to meet business needs and optimize labor costs.
• Handle customer issues with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.
