Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure friendly, fast service with great food in a clean, inviting environment. You will lead a team, schedule staff, train new hires, and collaborate with the District Manager to maintain standards.

Requirements include at least 1 year of assistant manager experience in a high-volume food service concept, flexible weekend and holiday shifts, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service concept.
• Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
