Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager for Gold Strike Casino to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure guest satisfaction. The position is exempt and full-time, located at Gold Strike Casino, with responsibilities spanning planning, supervision, and coordination with culinary staff.

The candidate will manage staffing, performance evaluations, supply orders, and inventory, while maintaining strong guest communications and service quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in high-paced food environment.
Two (2) years supervisory experience in food service environment.

Responsibilities

Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations.
Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation.
Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records.
Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues.
Communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests and employees.
Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or support departments.
