Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure friendly, personalized service with great food in a clean, inviting environment.

The role reports to the General Manager and works with the District Manager and team to maintain standards. Requires 1+ year in a similar role, flexible shifts, and a valid driver's license. We are an equal opportunity employer located in Brownsville, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing - access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent - possess all documents required by state and federal law
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills, results oriented

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations under the direction of the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant
