Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run daily restaurant operations with a focus on friendly, personalized service and high-quality food. The role reports to the General Manager and partners with the District Manager to uphold standards in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 1+ year of assistant manager experience in a high-volume setting, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high volume food service concepts
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays
• Valid Driver's License and access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent and required documents
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving, decision-making skills, results oriented and customer service focus

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations
• Oversee daily operations and financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Coach and develop staff and manage team relations
• Ensure proper food handling and equipment maintenance
• Support health and safety inspections and standards
• Help set a fun, family environment in the restaurant
