Job summary

Arby's is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations, driving food quality, guest service, and team performance. This hands-on leadership role offers growth into a General Manager position.

The role covers managing staffing, training, inventory, scheduling, and compliance with food safety standards, with shift coverage and occasional stepping into GM duties in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of customer service, food safety, and restaurant operations.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in running all aspects of the restaurant
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service
• Help manage staffing, training, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards
• Support inventory control, cost management, and labor scheduling
• Monitor and manage shift performance and resolve issues quickly
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and operating efficiently
• Step into the General Manager's role in their absence
