Kalahari Resorts & Conventions seeks an Assistant General Manager for its restaurant team. Lead daily operations, support the General Manager, and develop staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You will ensure alignment with service standards, drive financial performance, and foster a culture of respect and accountability among team members.

Competenze

• General food and beverage knowledge with FOH operations up to 1 year or more in a hotel/resort setting.
• Previous full-service restaurant experience with supervisory duties.
• At least 2 years of related experience, including craft cocktails.

In this role, you will support the restaurant's overall success by helping to lead daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role partners closely with the General Manager to drive service standards, financial performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Through hands-on leadership, coaching, and positive encouragement, you inspire your team to deliver exceptional hospitality while fostering an environment where people feel valued, empowered, and motivated to succeed together.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000/yr

What You'll Do:

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, the appearance of the facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of associates and creating a positive, productive working environment.
• Fill in where needed (as interim Manager, Supervisor, or Associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.

What We're Looking For:

• For this position, we do require a background in general food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions in a hotel or resort setting.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant and supervisory experience of staff is a must.
• It's preferred that you have at least 2 years of directly related experience, including experience with craft cocktails.
