Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a F&B Operations Manager to oversee daily food & beverage operations when the outlet manager is unavailable, ensuring goals for sales, costs, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation are met.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Director, you will provide hands-on leadership across day-to-day operations and coordinate across outlets. This role offers growth opportunities within the resort.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in full-service restaurants, bars, banquets, and kitchen management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• With the assistance of outlet Managers, ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort.
• Oversee all outlet supervisors and assistant managers on duty during the same shifts.
• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.

Now Hiring: F&B Operations Manager

In this role, you will oversee daily Food & Beverage operations when the outlet manager is unavailable, ensuring the assigned workspace meets goals for sales, costs, employee retention, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. This role reports to the Food and Beverage Director and provides hands‑on leadership and coordination across day‑to‑day operations.

Supporting leadership across full‑service and fast‑casual restaurants, the position offers broad Food and Beverage experience and prepares the right individual for future career growth at Kalahari Resorts.

Salary Range – Starting at $70,000/yr

Key Responsibilities

• With the assistance of outlet Managers, ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in full-service restaurants, bars, banquets, and kitchen management are required.
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is needed.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in front‑of‑house operations, preferably with at least 3 years in a supervisory or assistant management role within a hotel or resort setting.
• Experience overseeing multiple full‑service restaurant locations simultaneously, ideally with at least 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management, recipe adherence, and cost control.
• A general understanding of food and beverage operations, financial performance, and profit and loss (P&L) management.
