Job summary

Ian's Pizza Madison is seeking an Assistant General Manager to be the right hand to the GM, ensuring smooth restaurant operations and a culture aligned with our Vision, Values, and Big Five.

You will train and develop staff, help with scheduling and ordering, lead busy shifts, and drive projects to improve pizza, people, and performance. Compensation includes $50k+ per year, great benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AGM or GM experience in the food/beverage industry
• Embraces and embodies the Vision, Values, and Big Five
• Food Manager certification or able to complete within 6 months
• Safe Alcohol Server training or able to complete within 6 months
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot kitchens
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Reliable transportation for varying shift times

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in running restaurant operations smoothly
• Train and develop staff to maintain energy and quality
• Manage scheduling, ordering, and lead busy shifts
• Lead projects to improve pizza, people, or both
• Support operations with Manager On Duty shifts
