Job summary

Burger King in Hixson, TN is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations of a single restaurant, drive profitability, and develop the team. You will manage 20–45 hourly employees, coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members, and ensure top‑quality guest service in a fast‑paced environment.

The AGM will oversee inventory, asset management, security, and adherence to brand standards while maintaining efficient speed of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability, guest service, people development, and operations at a single restaurant.
• Directly manages a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members (20–45 employees).
• Manage inventory costs, place and receive inventory orders, and monitor restaurant assets.
• Ensure cash control procedures and security measures are followed.
• Uphold brand standards and ensure speed of service; perform Shift Coordinator duties when needed.
