Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The role oversees a broad range of accounting functions, including recordkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis in a hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively across financial functions. Hospitality or inventory-based accounting experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in corporate or hospitality settings.
• Strong understanding of debits/credits, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Experience with R365, Toast, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or Proliant is a plus.
• Hospitality or inventory-based accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping, including data entry, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, AP, AR, and GL.
• Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Support payroll processing using ADP, Paycom, or Proliant.
• Assist with budgeting, tax preparation, and compliance activities.
• Maintain organized documentation of financial activities.
• Utilize R365, Toast, or similar platforms for accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and integrity of processes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively across a variety of financial functions. Hospitality accounting experience is especially valuable, including familiarity with inventory-based accounting and restaurant-specific platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $75,000–$80,000


• Employer-sponsored medical coverage available after 90 days

Key Responsibilities
