Job summary

Back-House is seeking an Account Manager to own a portfolio of restaurant clients in NYC, serving as the primary relationship lead with owners and coordinating with an Operations Associate for day-to-day account work.

You will manage financials, drive strategic projects, and help operators grow their businesses with Back-House support, gaining front-row insight into how top hospitality brands are built and scaled.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in client services, restaurant finance, or hospitality ops.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel; build/interpret financial models.
• Able to read a P&L and explain insights to non-finance audiences.
• Comfort with QuickBooks Online, Toast, Square, or MarginEdge.
• Strong prioritization and attention to detail across multiple accounts.
• Genuine passion for the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for multiple restaurant owners.
• Oversee weekly financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Own strategic projects and drive them to completion.
• Coordinate across bookkeeping, marketing, tech, and owners for timely delivery.
• Flag opportunities to improve margins and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs for each account.
