Job summary

Goodwill Industries Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Rest Area Assistant Superintendent to oversee roadside parks, rest areas, custodial services, lawn care, and daily contract operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, and customer service.

You will lead a diverse team, train staff, coordinate with partners like ODOT and Jobs and Family Services, and ensure contracts are fulfilled on time while creating employment opportunities through

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in grounds, custodial, facilities, or similar environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead a diverse workforce while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Proficient with basic office tech (email, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily grounds, custodial, lawn care, and roadside park operations.
• Supervise and train a diverse team and coordinate with partner agencies.
• Ensure contract requirements and deadlines are met.
• Maintain safety for employees, clients, visitors, and the traveling public.
• Manage schedules, time records, and daily workflow.
