Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a compassionate caregiving provider to support a preschool-aged autistic boy in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on safety, companionship, and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the child’s routines. Schedule includes Tue–Thu 4 pm–10 pm, Fri–Sat 4 pm–10:30 pm, with Saturdays as needed.

Hourly pay is $10.60. CPR & First Aid certification and a background check are required; training provided as needed.

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background check before hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful interactions with the child.
• Provide companionship by implementing favorite activities into the schedule.
• Meal prepping and feeding the child.
• Redirect behaviors when needed and assist with cleaning up after toileting and changing pull-ups.
• Assist with the bedtime routine.

This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a caregiving provider who is patient, positive, and possesses a calm demeanor that can provide safety and companionship to a pre-school-aged autistic boy. Your role will be to engage with the child through meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities, while supporting his individual needs and routines.

Schedule & Pay

• Location: Green Bay, WI; Care provided in the child's home and nearby park
• Schedule:
  • Tues-Thurs 4 pm-10 pm
  • Fridays & Saturdays 4 pm-10:30 pm
  • Saturdays are "as needed"
• Hourly Pay: $10.60
