Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network in Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Respite Provider to support a vibrant young boy with Autism and ADHD in the Eau Claire area. You will focus on emotional regulation, safety supervision, and structured support to help him thrive in a warm, consistent home setting.

This role offers flexible hours and a wage of $14.13 per hour. You will build trust through patient, age-appropriate activities and maintain open communication with the parents to ensure his comfort

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one safety-focused care and constant supervision during all indoor and outdoor activities.
• Help the child navigate emotional regulation, offering calm, consistent responses to dysregulation or behavioral challenges.
• Create a structured and secure environment that promotes comfort, confidence, and predictability.
• Engage the child in supportive and age-appropriate activities such as walks, movement games, and quiet time, adapting to the child's sensory needs and energy levels.
• Monitor and document the child’s behavior and mood, maintaining open communication with the parents.
• Offer steady encouragement while helping reinforce coping tools and behavioral strategies that promote regulation and growth.
