Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a patient, compassionate Direct Care Worker to support a pre-school-aged autistic boy in his Wisconsin home. The role focuses on safety, companionship, and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the child’s routines.

Hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with Saturdays listed as “as needed.” A background check is required prior to hire.

This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a caregiving provider who is patient, positive, and possesses a calm demeanor that can provide safety and companionship to a pre-school-aged autistic boy. Your role will be to engage the child in meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities while supporting his individual needs and routines.

Schedule & Pay:

• Care provided in child's home and nearby park
• Fridays & Saturdays 4pm-10:30pm
• Saturdays are "as needed"

About The Child-

• Playing in the backyard
• Going to the park/going on walks
• Playing with toy cars, stuffed animals
• coloring, play dough,
• Watching tv/having it on for background noise

Responsibilities-
