As a Weekend Respite Lead 1 at Pathways to Community, you’ll be at the heart of our weekend respite program—bringing joy, structure, and support to adults with developmental disabilities through engaging, community-based experiences.
By helping to lead community outings like trips to the Mall of America, sporting events, amusement parks, arcades or a dinner out, you’ll be having fun while making a difference in the lives of our individuals.

Part-time; 25 hours per week

$18.75 per hour

In this role you will…
- Provide oversight to the respite program on weekends, leading staff and providing directions.
- Assist with personal care as needed.
- Cook and perform light cleaning.
- Provide constant supervision.
- Administer medications.
- Transport individuals to and from community events.
- This position requires working with individuals who need help with personal care, have behaviors, and requires flexibility for last-minute schedule changes.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Carry a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle.
- Hold an acceptable driving record.
- Possess strong English communication skills.
- Be able to participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.).
- Pass a DHS and nationwide criminal background check.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
