Job summary

Pathways to Community in Minnesota is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team. As a support role, you will train new staff and assist individuals with diverse medical needs and behaviors. This float position requires availability on weekdays, flexibility in shifts, and participation in various activities including transporting individuals.

The role includes a compensation rate of $19.50 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package encompassing health, dental, retirement matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Access to a reliable vehicle required.
• Able to participate in water activities such as pool and waterslides.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff entering the program.
• Serve individuals with varying behaviors and medical needs.
• Work within different programs like 1:1 In-Home and Respite.
• Administer medications as required.
• Assist with cooking and housework.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community events.

Lead Schedule / Availability:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 9:00 pm (Pick 3 days)

Shifts are assigned within this time frame

(35 hours per week)

Compensation: $19.50 per hour

This is a float position and will be required to work throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

In this role you would be responsible for:

• Training new staff as they enter the program on the Individuals that the FS Program serves
• Be available to serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways including personal cares.
• Working within several different programs (1:1 In-Home and Respite)
• Administering medications
• Cooking and help with housework
• Transporting individuals to appointments and community events using personal vehicle

To be considered for position with us, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle
• Possess strong English communication skills
• Be able to participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.)
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
