Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking a Direct Support Professional I for respite work, providing one-to-one care for children with special health care needs. Scheduling is as needed by the family, with part-time opportunities and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

You'll implement safety plans, provide socialization, and document activities and incidents for coordination. The role emphasizes punctuality, professional communication, and adherence to regulations in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Provide safe one-to-one care for children with special health care needs as directed by parents/caretakers.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, document timesheets and incident reports when needed.
• Arrive punctually, participate in required trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe one-to-one care per the plan for children with special health care needs.
• Provide socialization opportunities within home and/or outside of home when appropriate.
• Carry out tasks outlined in the respite safety and service plan.
• Provide required documentation to coordinator in a timely manner.
