Qualifikationen

• High School/GED required.
• Experience as PCA/PCT/NA/LPN/EMT or equivalent.
• One year in an acute or long-term care facility or enrolled in nursing program.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient in phlebotomy and straight catheterization.

Aufgaben

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care such as ADLs, vital signs, and specimen collection.
• Assists RN in care of acutely ill patients and coordinates non-direct patient care duties.
• Coordinates admissions, discharges, transfers and unit activities.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintains a clean, safe environment.
