Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Master Trainer to develop and continually improve training programs for Respiratory Therapy staff using TWI and JI methods. You will coach managers and supervisors, build competency plans, and drive education across the department.

Responsibilities include auditing training effectiveness, leading leadership development initiatives, and serving as a technical resource for physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Respiratory Care or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in critical care and/or leadership.
• Preferred: Master's in Business or health profession.
• Licensure: ACLS, RT, NBRC, Job Instruction Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve Respiratory Therapy training programs using TWI, JI, and Lean principles.
• Establish opportunities for training and process improvement; document them.
• Train Respiratory Therapy management and leadership in TWI/JI skills.
