Qualifications

• Requires an AAS/AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and active RRT.
• Four years of full-time in-field experience as an RRT is required.
• Active RRT credential and CA RCP license must be maintained.
• Direct, specialized knowledge for instructional effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and deliver Respiratory Therapy course content.
• Maintain a safe learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Utilize respiratory equipment and simulation tools for instruction.
• Keep curriculum current with professional standards and technologies.
• Deliver theory and lab instruction across key Respiratory Therapy topics.
• Provide feedback and assess student competency and progress.
• Meet with leadership to discuss student progress and program needs.
• Prepare reports on student performance and program indicators.
