Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Supervisor Respiratory Therapy to lead daily patient care and supervise staff on the shift. You'll oversee routine and critical respiratory procedures, including ventilation, assign personnel, and ensure quality and productivity.

The role requires a Respiratory Therapy degree, active NBRC/State credentials, and leadership experience. You will mentor the team, monitor compliance, and collaborate with care leaders to improve patient outcomes and hospital

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent required.
• NBRC/State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• NRP certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and critical care respiratory procedures including mechanical ventilation.
• Assign staff on shift and supervise Respiratory Therapists.
• Monitor staff quality and perform rounds and documentation reviews.
• Support operations and assist management to improve patient care and department performance.
