Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Florida seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist Lead (RRT Lead) to supervise shifts and oversee patient care within the Respiratory department. The role focuses on daily assessments, treatments, and implementing the Respiratory Care Plan per Clinical Practice Guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care and the required certifications (ACLS, BCLS, NRP, PALS, CRT/RRT/NBRC).

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment
• BCLS within 30 days of employment
• NRP within 6 months of employment
• PALS within 6 months of employment
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
• State licensure: CRT/RRT/NBRC certification

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision and monitor day-to-day assessment, treatment and services within the Respiratory department.
• Develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan based upon Clinical Practice Guidelines.
