Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current state license and BLS certification.
• Three years of technical experience and two years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes multidisciplinary patient care through collaboration with the nursing and medical staff.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, and directs the respiratory therapy staff.
• Provides leadership to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.
• Develops and implements department goals and budgets.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and hospital policies.
• Maintains professional knowledge and participates in quality improvement.
