Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Manager of the Respiratory Department to lead daily operations and ensure the highest quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The role oversees budgeting, staffing, and collaboration with medical staff, with emphasis on education and safety in a full-time onsite setting at Pardee UNC Health Care. Strong leadership in respiratory therapy is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• Must hold a current North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Adult critical care and pediatric/neonatal experience.

Responsabilités

• Budget and reporting: manage bi-weekly/monthly procedure counts, budget preparation and equipment needs.
• Staffing: determine headcount, participate in recruitment, conduct evaluations, develop staff through coaching.
• Communication: coordinate with medical director and staff; participate in committees; ensure safe patient care transitions.
• Continuing Education: stay current with practice changes; plan and deliver in-service training.
• Other Duties: develop/update policies and job descriptions; participate in inspections and audits.
