Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist Lead for the Day Shift at our East Valley Campus in Gilbert, AZ. This 0.9 FTE leadership role combines bedside care with team operations, staffing coordination, and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of critical care RT experience and prior leadership experience. Required NBRC RRT, Arizona license, BLS; PALS either already or within nine months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of critical care Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience (Lead role, precepting, committees, or similar).
• Pediatric and/or NICU experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operational activities and staffing for the shift.
• Lead huddles and support RTs during high-acuity situations.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality in respiratory care services; mentor staff.
