Vibra Healthcare, LLC in Coleman, Texas is seeking a Respiratory Practitioner for full-time, on-site work in a Long Term Acute Care facility. You will set up and operate respiratory care equipment, manage ventilators, and participate in weaning under physician direction.

You will document treatments and patient responses, perform trach care, and educate patients and caregivers while maintaining licensure and pursuing ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice by the state of employment as a Respiratory Practitioner.
• Must have BLS upon hire and obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain licenses and certification for the duration of employment.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate and monitor ventilators when the patient’s respiratory system is unable to ventilate adequately.
• Participate in ventilator weaning according to protocols and physician direction.
• Record treatments and patient responses in the respiratory care records and chart.
• Perform trach care and changes per policy; document changes in progress notes.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients and educate patients and caregivers.
