Leonard Florence Center for Living seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join its Green House Ventilator Program, providing essential respiratory care within a state-of-the-art skilled nursing residence.

The role involves delivering prescribed therapies, monitoring residents, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize residents' respiratory health and independence.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient evaluation skills required.
• Current CPR certifications (BLS and ACLS) required.
• Maintains educational competencies per state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed respiratory treatments (oxygen, gases, aerosols).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote respiratory health and quality of life.
• Monitor and document residents' conditions; report changes to staff and physicians.
• Review orders and administer therapies; ensure accurate documentation.
• Inspect, test, and maintain respiratory equipment for safety and compliance.
