Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group in New Jersey is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical team. The role focuses on patient-centered care, spirometry testing, CPAP/BIPAP setup, EMR documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Requirements include an AS degree in respiratory therapy, NJ license with NBRC RRT, BLS and ALS eligibility within 12 months. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development within a large health system.

Qualifications

AS degree in respiratory therapy required.
Active NJ license and NBRC RRT credential within 1 year.
BLS; ALS or eligibility within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion capacity using Carefusion/Vyntus systems.
Calibrate equipment and set up for tests.
Conduct exercise/oxygen titration testing.
Demonstrate EPIC system proficiency including scheduling and messaging.
Triage CPAP/PFT-related patient calls and educate patients.
Assist CPAP/BIPAP setup and advise appropriate equipment.
Process orders, route calls, and follow up with patients.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.
Navigate multiple systems to obtain documentation (CPAP orders, sleep studies).
Participate in quality management and maintain clinical competencies.
