Sequim Bay Post Acute in Sequim, WA is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team. This full-time role supports residents with respiratory needs and collaborates with nursing and therapy staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

The RT will perform treatments per physician orders, monitor respiratory status, document care, and educate residents and families on breathing techniques and equipment. Washington state license required; CRT or RRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
