Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our Washington care team. This full-time position focuses on supporting residents with respiratory needs and working closely with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington RCP license, a CRT or RRT is preferred, and experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
  • Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
  • Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
  • Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment

Position Summary
