Olympic View Post Acute in Port Angeles, WA seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team. This full-time position supports residents with respiratory needs and collaborates with nursing and therapy staff to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications include WA RCP licensure and a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT/RRT preferred). Strong communication and teamwork are essential for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team. This role plays a key part in supporting residents with respiratory needs and working closely with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
