Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team. This role plays a key part in supporting residents with respiratory needs and working closely with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
Qualifications
Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred)
Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
