Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team in Washington. The RT will provide therapies per orders, monitor respiratory status, document care, and work with nurses and therapists to develop individualized plans for residents with respiratory needs.

Ideal candidates have Washington licensure as an RCP and experience with ventilator care/tracheostomy; strong communication and compassionate patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Washington or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with respiratory care, including nebulizers, suctioning, and oxygen therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
  • Assess and monitor residents' respiratory status and report changes promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and resident response.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create patient care plans.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team's in Washington. This role plays a key part in supporting residents with respiratory needs and working closely with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.

  • Assess and monitor residents' respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs

  • Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment

  • Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment

Qualifications
  • Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred)

  • Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
