Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II in Griffin, GA to provide advanced respiratory care in critical care settings, including ventilator management, medication administration, airway procedures, and patient assessment.

You will educate patients, families, and staff, support interdisciplinary teamwork, mentor new employees, and contribute to safety, documentation, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science.
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory therapy, including aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, oxygen, and medical gas therapy.
• Manage ventilators, perform weaning, interpret waveforms, and handle airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care).
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Assess patients and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop care plans.
• Mentor and precept new employees, students, and peers.
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary diagnostics, and cardiac service procedures.
• Promote a safe environment, high-quality documentation, adherence to evidence-based practices, and performance improvement initiatives.
