Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligible.
• Must obtain Illinois licensure within six months.

Respiratory Therapist RRT - Multiple Campuses

Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74

Sign-on bonus potential: up to $25,000 for full-time nights and $10,000 for full-time days and evenings!

Locations Available:

• Arlington Heights
• Skokie
• Evanston
• Highland Park
• Chicago
• Naperville
• Elmhurst

Shifts Available:

• Full-time, part-time, or PRN (8 and 12-hour shift options)
• Day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Weekend coverage options

What you will do:

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians according to hospital policy and procedures
• Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment
• Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone orders by physicians
• Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner
• Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients
• Provide patient and staff education

What you will need:

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
• State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
• Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
