Job summary

Mercy seeks a Respiratory Care professional to perform direct patient care across respiratory therapies per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for the care team in respiratory matters. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements include graduation from a CoArc-approved program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS is preferred; PALS is required for ER staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
