HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to guide patients through routine and critical care, leveraging advanced respiratory technology and a collaborative team. The role includes diagnosing and treating with both invasive and noninvasive ventilation across emergency, critical care, and acute settings.

You will be responsible for patient and family education, acting as a resource to physicians and nurses, and ensuring safety and infection control.

Formación

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Associate Degree

Responsabilidades

• Assess respiratory status by performing focused exams and interpreting breath sounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy: oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance, and other treatments across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airways: invasive/noninvasive ventilation, monitor responses, respond to changes.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource; collaborate with physicians and nurses; assist newborns during deliveries when needed.
• Maintain equipment and safety: set up, operate, clean, ensure readiness, and follow infection-prevention standards.
