Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to evaluate respiratory needs, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy across emergency, critical care, and acute settings. You will work with a dedicated team using advanced respiratory technology and uphold infection-control standards.

Responsibilities include ventilation management, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Frequent standing and handling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine intervention needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen and medications.
• Manage ventilation and airway care across settings.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with care team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-control standards.
