Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver protocol-driven respiratory care in a fast-paced setting.

You will operate ventilators, administer therapies such as oxygen and inhaled meds, educate patients and families, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certification mandated.

Responsibilities include:

assessing patients' respiratory needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing therapeutic modalities (e.g., aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, artificial airway care), managing mechanical ventilators, providing patient and family education, assisting with airway management and intra-hospital transport, collecting blood gas samples, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in fiberoptic bronchoscopy procedures, invasive monitoring, and acting as a shift coordinator or preceptor as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

graduate from a specialty training program, with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operate advanced equipment, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
